We aim to provide a delightful shopping experience that connects you with history.
Mansfield, Ohio native, Marcia Scott grew up with grandparents who owned businesses, whom she worked alongside. Marcia credits each of them with her entrepreneurial spirit. She says, “They’re the original entrepreneurs.” Marcia’s love of antiques also stems from her grandparents’ collections.
When Marcia moved back to Ashland, from out of state, in 2023, that entrepreneurial fire was lit for two new generations of her family. Daughter, Michele, and grandson, Jayden now share that same love and excitement for VINTAGE!
Upon Marcia’s return, she and Michele tossed around the idea for a vintage marketplace, where vendors could bring their antiques and set them up for sale.
They put their idea out on the Ashland Chatter Facebook Page to gauge interest, and the feedback was super positive. So, Marcia, Michele, and Jayden got to work!
With gratitude to friends, vendors, teachers, and more, MJM Vintage Market opened their doors on January 15, 2024.
Like Marcia’s grandparents did for her, she hopes to inspire others with that same entrepreneurial spirit.
